Italian Vogue to Do All-Black Issue

Black fashionistas rejoice! Italian Vogue, the quintessential fashion magazine has decided to do an all black issue for July. 

Editor in Chief Franca Sozzani said that her decision to move in this direction was influenced by the recent attention on the absence of blacks on the catwalk and the successful presidential campaign of Sen. Barack Obama (who seems to be influencing all kind of people everywhere in many different ways lately). 

Featured in the magazine: Tyra Banks, Iman, Naomi Campbell, Alek Wek, Liya Kebede, Pat Cleveland, Jourdan Dunn, Sessilee Lopez, Chanel Iman (who’s my fav), Veronica Webb, and Karen Alexander.
