It seems as if every time I have something great to say about the Obamas (see post below, “Michelle Obama: Newest Member of AKA”) I have to follow it up with something bad, outrageous, ignorant etc.
Well look what we have here. Some genius in the Editorial Department at The New Yorker decided that this was a good idea for this weeks cover:
Please notice Michelle Obama’s afro, the flag burning in the fireplace and the picture of Osama Bin Laden on the wall.
Although the covers of The New Yorker are usually satirical this one is just scary and in extremely poor taste. Take a good look at this picture, remember it- this is how some Americans actually view the Obamas. So sad.
