John McCain Speaks to NAACP

John McCain addressed the NAACP at their national convention yesterday... 

After he'd turned down the invitation twice in the past, voted against making MLK day a national holiday back in the 80's, and announced this the other day. 

I'm just trying to figure out why he even bothers?
