I know an unmarried girl who's trying to get pregnant... Which is extremely confusing to me. I mean, I know a lot of people who have children with someone that they're not necessarily married to, but I've always assumed that the child wasn't planned.
And I know this sounds a little counterintuitive but it seems to make more sense that an unmarried couple has an unplanned child rather than a planned one. If you're going to plan to have a child, (watch as the life-long commitment flag raises) then why not plan to get married?
Am I naive for not understanding this cart-before-the-horse necessity to have a baby before marriage? And is this the reason why Forever 21 sells baby clothes?
