WalMart Employee Trampled to Death

I've never ever ever shopped on Black Friday.

Like my mother, I hate crowds. I don't care how cheap shit is or even if they're giving it away for free. It's not worth crowds and mob mentalities. I can't even go to amusement parks during the summer because I can't stand being around too many people. My friend convinced me to roll with her this morning but I changed my mind late last night at the last minute. I didn't want to deal with the hassle.

Now I hear this:

A Wal-Mart employee in suburban New York died after being trampled by a crush of shoppers who tore down the front doors and thronged into the store early Friday morning, turning the annual rite of post- Thanksgiving bargain hunting into a frenzy.

The 34-year-old employee, who was not identified, was knocked down by a crowd that broke down the doors of the Wal-Mart at the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream, N.Y., and surged into the store. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital at 6 a.m.
