7:47 p.m. So is it over yet? They called Ohio for Obama and no state has ever won the election without Ohio.
3:18 So the first polls have closed in parts of Indiana, Kentucky, and New Hampshire.

3:02 p.m. My friends are starting to infiltrate my workspace! That'll teach me to work in a public space... The most popular term searched on Google right now is "black panthers"... followed by 9 different forms of who's winning, exit polls, and election... I find it important to mention that I once went to a lecture where the infamous Elaine Brown of the original Black Panthers spoke and she was not hesitant to mention that there is only ONE true Black Panther Party and they died out years ago. The rest are perpetrators (and in this case, McCain operatives)... the Black Panther problem would be in Philly, what next?
2:27 p.m. Okay at work I definitely just made a comment in one of our blogs about McCain trying to steal Pennsylvania and now they're reporting all kinds of problems. McCain better not win there or I'm definitely crying foul.
2:25 p.m. Do you have some time to phone bank? Obama is in desperate need of phone banking assistance...
2:17 p.m. So I'm like the worst live-blogger ever. Blame it on the shady Starbucks I'm at right now. Or on my work load. They're keeping me busy.
Black Panthers are blocking polling places in Philly?
First time voting? Had trouble at the polling places? So anxious to hear the results you're going to burst? Tell me about it here.
9:28 a.m. I just got a text: "I voted. I don't feel any different" from my cynical 24 year old friend who's voting for the first time. He once tole me "There's no way America is going to let a black man be president." Oh I love today! I text him back saying "I'm so PROUD!"
*UPDATE... he later admitted that he does feel a little different. : )
9:25 a.m. True confessions: I still haven't voted! I'm working from home today so I had to get some stuff turned in because even though I live in PST I'm working on Eastern Standard Time today.
I got a text from a friend who lives in New York that read "Disenfranchisement!" Apparently there's something shady going on with the voting machines in New York... serious problems pulling the lever to the left to actually record the vote... she got assistance but she talked with a woman who left the polls without ever pulling it to the left... her vote wasn't recorded. She called CNN to report the issue. It's one to watch.
8:45 a.m. Funny text: "To all my intelligent friends: I already know who you're voting for, thanks! To all my unintelligent, easily influenced friends: McCain shot Biggie."
7:47 a.m. Everyone else is dong it so why not me? So Barack Obama has won in Dixville Notch, NH a small isolated town in New Hampshire that traditionally votes shortly after midnight on Election Day has closed the polls and announced a 15-21 victory for Obama. Why is this important? It's the first time since 1968 that this little area leaned Democratically in an election. I'm calling it a landslide!
