Rest In Peace

You've probably heard by now that Obama's grandmother Madelyn Dunham lost her battle with cancer this morning. I really wish she could've just held on for one more day but as my co-worker commented today, maybe she's needed up there to help Obama out from the heavens tomorrow.

What you might not have heard yet is how the Republican Party has criticized Obama's visit to his grandmother. The Republican National Committee says that he shouldn't have used campaign money to pay for the trip. Despite the fact that he stumped a little while he was in Hawaii...

Are they serious?

I can't wait until tonight when this bites them in the ass... all over network television. I can hear it now. There will be a general news story about his grandmother's death followed by, "in related news the Republican Party is filing a complaint against Sen. Obama for visiting his now deceased grandmother last week while she was on her death bed..." etc.
